Social Studies Reflection My favorite thing we studied in social studies is World War I and World War II because we’ve never learned about it before and it is really interesting. I learned about the Triple Alliance, the Triple Entente, Central powers, and Allied Powers. It was very cool learning about it. The part about Francis Ferdinand being assassinated was really weird I thought. I didn’t know that America came into the war later. It is all very cool to me.
The skill I learned is how to take notes. We took notes on every lesson off the smart board and in to our note books. I think it is really easy to take notes in school now. I think middle school will be easy when we take notes.
I can apply these things I learned in school to real life because if I work some where that has to do with history, I will be able to work there successfully. I’ve really enjoyed social studies this year. It is my favorite subject. It’s lots of fun and I hope I have this much fun in social studies in middle school.
